Four Receive Life Sentences for 2017 Murder of Fruit Seller
A court has sentenced four individuals to life for murdering fruit seller Shanu in 2017. The accused were fined Rs 10,000 each. Shanu's mother had reported threats prior to the murder.

In a significant legal verdict, a local court has handed life imprisonment sentences to four individuals for the 2017 murder of a fruit vendor named Shanu. The decision was announced by Judge Shivanand at the Fast Track Court-I.
Those convicted were identified as Babloo, Hasrat, Hamid, and Shama, with each facing an additional fine of Rs 10,000. This sentence follows a complaint by Rahisa, Shanu's mother, who detailed how her son was tragically shot while selling fruit near a bridge on April 1, 2017. Rahisa had previously mentioned threats to Shanu's life.
