In Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 24-year-old man was apprehended for reportedly assaulting a young boy at a wedding. The local police made the arrest after thorough investigation.
The incident was reported on May 15, occurring within the jurisdiction of Naudiha police station. Based on evidence, including technical data, the man was detained and confessed to the crime during interrogation. According to Neeraj Kumar, the officer in charge, legal proceedings under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act were promptly initiated, and the suspect has been placed in judicial custody.
