During his critique, Gehlot cited data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) for 2024, placing Rajasthan at the top for rape cases nationally. He argued that the reality on the ground is grim, with abductions and other serious crimes becoming more prevalent. The former chief minister accused the police of pressuring victims into compromise rather than pursuing justice, sometimes leading to extreme responses like suicide.

Gehlot questioned whether the fear of criminals has disappeared under the BJP's rule and why law enforcers seem to be part of the problem. He has demanded accountability from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, urging him to address these issues directly with the people of Rajasthan.
