Rajasthan Reviews Cyber Crime Prevention Strategies

In a significant move to tackle cyber crimes, V Srinivas, the chief secretary of Rajasthan, led a high-level meeting. Focused on bolstering the state's cyber crime prevention measures, the discussions covered technical improvements and better coordination strategies.
The meeting reviewed the functioning of the cyber crime cell and evaluated the 1930 Cyber Helpline. Emphasizing robust actions, Srinivas urged officials to draft a comprehensive policy plan within 30 days and examined the operational processes at the cyber crime helpline centre.
The chief secretary called for expedited completion of the Rajasthan Cyber Crime and Operation Centre to enhance the state’s capacity to respond decisively to cyber threats. Comprehensive government support was assured for improving these systems.
Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma and other senior personnel also attended the meeting, underscoring the state's commitment to safeguarding digital security.
