Delhi Model Perishes in Kerala Quarry Pool Tragedy

A 26-year-old man from Delhi, in Kerala for an ad shoot, tragically drowned in a quarry pool near Perumbavoor on Thursday. According to police, the incident unfolded when the man, reportedly a model, entered the pool, ignoring posted warnings about the site's dangers.

Part of a crew scouting locations for an advertisement, he ventured into the quarry in a village under Kodanadu police jurisdiction. Unfortunately, his team was unable to save him. Local residents were hesitant to intervene due to the pool's notorious reputation. Firefighters later retrieved the body, now housed at Perumbavoor Taluk Hospital.
