The European Union's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, has strongly condemned Russia for breaching European airspace. On Friday, Kallas emphasized that such actions cannot be tolerated after a Russian drone crashed into an apartment building in Romania during a nighttime attack on Ukraine.

'The Russian drone crash in Galați was a blatant and serious violation of Romania's sovereignty and European airspace,' Kallas stated in a post on X, highlighting that Russia has long ignored respecting international borders.

In response to the incident, Kallas spoke with Romania's Foreign Minister Oana Toiu, assuring her of the European Union's steadfast solidarity with Romania, a crucial member of the 27-nation bloc.
