Manipur Inaugurates Museum Honoring Police Legacy

Manipur's newly inaugurated police museum commemorates the dedication and sacrifices of police personnel over generations, featuring antique arms, uniforms, historical photographs, and documents.

A new police museum in Manipur was recently inaugurated, serving as a tribute to the dedication and bravery of the state's police personnel over the years, as highlighted by Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh.

The museum, located at the 1st Manipur Rifles Battalion Complex, showcases a diverse collection of historical uniforms, antique arms, rare photographs, and archival documents, all commemorating the evolution and service of Manipur Police. Singh also explored notable items such as Second World War weapons and vintage radio transceivers from the late 1990s. Following this, he inaugurated a childcare facility at the Manipur Police Headquarters.
