An incident involving an independent corporator and three others has led to multiple arrests in Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund district. They are accused of killing a 38-year-old man, Bhuneshwar Yadav, and concealing his body along the Mahanadi riverbank.
The investigation began after Yadav's wife, from Indira Colony, reported him missing. Initial footage revealed three people seen with Yadav prior to his disappearance, leading to their questioning. The individuals eventually confessed to the crime, citing an altercation during a drinking session as the trigger. Authorities recovered the body on Thursday in the presence of the victim's family.
