Chatterjee's legal team argued the FIR lacked clear evidence of criminal intent. Justice Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee granted interim relief for four weeks, noting the need for cooperation with ongoing investigations. The interim order does not impede the police from completing their inquiry and filing a final report.
