Haryana's Special Lok Adalat Resolves Over 2,400 Cheque Bounce Cases
In a specially convened Lok Adalat session in Haryana, over 2,400 cheque bounce cases were resolved, with a total settlement amounting to Rs 40.31 crore. The event aimed to offer an effective and swift resolution process for pending cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act.

A Special Lok Adalat session conducted by the District Legal Services Authority in Gurugram successfully addressed a significant backlog of cheque bounce cases. This initiative, led by the Haryana State Legal Services Authority, aimed at providing quick resolutions for legal disputes involving financial instruments.
Throughout the session, 2,497 out of 2,573 cases were amicably settled, reflecting a total resolution of Rs 40.31 crore. The Lok Adalat operated under the leadership of Narendra Sura, Chairman, and Nisha, Secretary. The event underscored the effectiveness of Lok Adalats as platforms for delivering efficient and affordable legal redressal.
