In a disturbing incident in Manipur's Kangpokpi district, suspected militants ignited five kutcha houses in the village of Kharam Vaiphei. Authorities reported no injuries following the arson.
Local security forces swiftly acted, managing to stabilize the volatile situation. Kuki Inpi Manipur, representing Kuki tribes, demanded a transparent investigation to apprehend those accountable and prevent additional conflicts.
The police have rebuffed allegations spreading on social media against the district SP, labeling them unjustified and threatening legal consequences for spreading misinformation.
