Authorities have apprehended two more individuals linked to an attempt to seize government land in Gandipet by fabricating official documents. The suspects, V Radhakrishna and his driver, were detained following previous arrests related to the case at Narsingi Police Station. The investigation continues to identify other involved parties.

Radhakrishna reportedly defrauded several individuals by pledging government job opportunities, leading to multiple charges of forgery, cheating, and breach of trust against him. His fraudulent activities extended to land deals, where he conspired with others to sell government land under false pretenses, falsely assuring buyers that legal acquisition was possible.

The investigation unveiled that despite knowing the land belonged to the government, Radhakrishna misled an Andhra Pradesh political leader into thinking he could secure legal rights over the land. He and his accomplice amassed significant money while producing false government approvals and documents, including fake NOCs and forged signatures of senior officials.

The conspiracy involved significant financial transactions of approximately Rs 12 crore. Despite knowing the impracticality of obtaining genuine permissions, Radhakrishna, with the help of a lawyer, produced counterfeit documents to deceive potential buyers. Authorities continue their efforts to arrest remaining suspects and fully uncover the financial dealings involved.
