Russian Anti-Aircraft Units Intercept 339 Ukrainian Drones
Russia's Defense Ministry reported that its anti-aircraft units intercepted and destroyed 339 Ukrainian drones over a 13-hour period in various regions, including Moscow. The interceptions occurred across 13 regions and the Black Sea. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin provided updates on the anti-aircraft actions throughout the day.
In a significant development, Russia's Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that its anti-aircraft units successfully intercepted and destroyed 339 Ukrainian drones over a 13-hour stretch.
The operations were conducted in multiple Russian regions, Moscow among them, as well as areas over the Black Sea. The ministry made this disclosure via a Telegram post listing 13 affected regions.
Providing further details on the situation, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin issued regular updates on Telegram, documenting the anti-aircraft measures. An unofficial tally indicated that 14 drones were taken down by the day's end.
