U.S. security chief says seeking migration deals with Honduras, El Salvador

U.S. Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan said during a speech in Guatemala on Thursday that the United States is seeking "similar agreements" with Honduras and El Salvador on migration.

Under a deal struck with the United States last week, Guatemala became a so-called "safe third country," turning it into a buffer zone for migrants trying to reach the United States.
