Man gets life term for killing father

A 26-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here on Thursday for killing his father after he refused to give him money to buy liquor.
Ch Ramesh, a businessman, was convicted of murder under IPC section 302, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said in an official release.
On July 3, 2016, Ramesh had assaulted his mother after she refused to give him money to buy liquor and when his father Yadagiri intervened in the matter, he attacked him with a brick, according to prosecution.
