Suspect in London attack was recently released from prison

Police are confident that the suspect in the south London attack was Sudesh Amman, who had been recently released from prison where he was serving a sentence for "Islamist-related terrorism offenses", a senior officer said on Sunday.

Lucy D'Orsi, deputy assistant commissioner in the Metropolitan Police, said she was confident the attack was an isolated incident that now had been contained.
