Arunachal Pradesh's governor highlighted the critical importance of women's contributions to the state's socio-economic and cultural development. During a meeting with National Commission for Women Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, issues surrounding women's welfare and empowerment were discussed.

Governor Parnaik praised Arunachali women for their active roles in various fields including agriculture, entrepreneurship, and governance.
