Maha cop suspended for showering notes on schoolgirls on R-day

A constable was Monday suspendedafter a video of him showering currency notes on schoolgirlsperforming at a Republic Day function in Nagpur in Maharashtrawent viral on social media

A senior Nagpur (rural) police official said constablePramod Walke had been suspended for indiscipline for hisnote-showering act which took place at a Republic Day culturalprogramme in a zila parishad school in Nand village in thedistrict's Bhivapur taluka

"Nagpur Rural police Superintendent of Police RakeshOla has suspended constable Pramod Walke and has initiated adepartmental inquiry," the official said.
