Uttar Pradesh: Advocates protest against DM over shifting of registry office

A scuffle broke out at Collectorate office on Friday after advocates didn't let District Magistrate enter his office in protest against shifting of registry office to a different location.

An advocate said, "We have been protesting here for the last 4-5 days. The registry office was shifted at 3 am without taking our bar into confidence.”

“The new office is 13 kilometres away from here in Naya Moradabad. There are concerns of security too," he said. (ANI)
