Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar engaged in talks with West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to bolster cooperation between central and state authorities. Their discussions revolved around accelerating developments in the state's urban infrastructure and power sectors.
During his visit, Khattar introduced the 'Swachha App' at New Town alongside Adhikari and Municipal Affairs Minister Agnimitra Paul. The app empowers citizens to report littering, enabling civic bodies to respond promptly. This initiative is expected to enhance urban governance as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, initially covering ten urban local bodies in West Bengal.
