A fire erupted in south Mumbai's Cuffe Parade area, affecting a two-storey residential structure on Sunday afternoon, officials reported.

Emergency services confirmed no injuries occurred. The fire surfaced at Kanwal Mansion around 12:36 pm and was contained to the first floor. Firefighters extinguished the flames by approximately 12:55 pm.

The blaze damaged electrical wiring, wooden partitions, and household items spanning about 3,000 square feet. Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
