Minibus Crash in Madhya Pradesh Claims Two Lives, Injures 17
A tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh resulted in the deaths of a mother and her teenage daughter, alongside 17 injuries, when a minibus overturned after losing control on a motorcycle, the state police reported.

A heartbreaking accident in Madhya Pradesh on Monday morning saw a woman and her 16-year-old daughter lose their lives. The tragic event unfolded when a minibus lost control and overturned onto a motorcycle in Khargone district, police authorities confirmed.
The minibus was navigating the Khandwa-Baroda National Highway near Magariya village. An attempt to avoid an oncoming vehicle led to the driver losing control, according to Jaitapur police station's Sudarshan Kalosia. This incident left the father of the deceased, who was riding the motorcycle, injured. In total, 17 others were hurt, three critically, who are now in intensive care. They were quickly transported to the district hospital for urgent medical attention.
Police indicate that the minibus was en route to Piplod for an engagement ceremony. One affected passenger, Vijay Bichhaniya, described the driver’s desperate attempt to evade an opposite car, resulting in the crash. Police have initiated investigations, with the deceased sent for post-mortem examination.
