The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) would contest at least four seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections and support the Congress in the other constituencies, party president M Kodandaram said Wednesday. "...Definitely, we should contest at least four places and announce support to Congress party from outside where we are not in the contest. This is the view that has come," he told reporters here.
TJS had contested the assembly elections in December last as part of the "grand alliance" that comprised Congress, TDP, CPI and TJS. However, the TJS drew a blank.
The party would release its manifesto in the next few days and anybody can voluntarily come forward to spread its message, he said. The party would undertake a 'yatra' for safeguarding and addressing the problems of Adivasis, he said.
