Two held with ephedrine worth Rs 3 crore

Two persons were arrested near ahotel at Bhayandar in Maharashtra's Thane district Saturdayfor allegedly possessing 25-kgs of ephedrine drug worth aroundRs 3 crore, police said

The accused are identified as Yogesh Shah, 50, andSadev Jamadar, a senior police officer said, adding that theyare residents of Mumbai

The duo have been booked under Narcotic Drug andPsychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigationis underway, he said.
