17.20 per cent voter turn out recorded in Mizoram till 9 am

An average voter turn out of 17.20 per cent was recorded in the first two hours in the election to the lone Mizoram Lok Sabha seat and bypoll to the Aizawl West -I assembly seat on Thursday, an election official said. Brisk voting was reported from many places with enthusiastic voters coming to the polling stations to exercise their franchise.
