Five die after under-construction slab collapse

Five persons were injured Monday after the slab of an under-construction building collapsed on them at Nagpada here, police said. The incident occurred this afternoon at Peer Khan street, where the building construction work was going on, an official said.

At least five persons got trapped under the debris, he said, adding that they were rescued by Fire brigade and police and rushed to state run J J hospital. Two of the injured persons were discharged while others are hospitalised, he said.
