Mumbai: EC flying squad seizes Rs 2.87 lakh from motorcyclist

The flying squad of the ElectionCommission seized Rs. 2.87 lakh cash from a motorcyclistduring a police check at Haji Ali in south Mumbai, police saidSunday

Rakesh Shah, riding a motorcycle, was stopped by thepolice and the EC's flying squad on Saturday night and asearch revealed Rs 2.87 lakh, the official said

The cash has been seized and its antecedents are beingprobed, he added.
