Three drown in pond in West Bengal

Three persons,including two minor boys, drowned on Friday while bathing in awaterbody in Jagatipota in South 24 Parganas district, policesaid

Ranak Das (17), Subhajit (19) and Shan Roy (14)drowned in a pond in Jagatipota under Narendrapur PoliceStation limits, when they along with three other friends wentthere to bathe, they said

The three were declared brought-dead when taken to anearby hospital, police added.
