The BJP has complained to Rajasthan CEO Anand Kumar against Congress nominee from Sikar Lok Sabha seat Subhash Meharia for allegedly trying to abduct and attack a party worker. In his complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer, state BJP communication department in-charge Nahar Singh Maheshwari said that the Congress nominee attacked party worker Sudhir Garg.
He lugged Garg in his vehicle but could not succeed as a number of people gathered at the spot. The party worker sustained injuries on his head and ear, Maheshwari alleged. The Bharatiya Janata Party leader also claimed that the police officers present on the spot failed to act against the Congress leader.
