Two teenage boys drowned in a creek in Thane district of Maharashtra, an official said Sunday. The incident occurred Saturday evening when the boys, both 15, entered the creek which was swollen due to rains for a swim, according to an official of Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC), Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
RDMC chief, TMC, Santosh kadam said bodies of the boys were fished out Sunday. The deceased are identified as Subham Deokar and Pravin Kanchari, both residents of Kopri.
