Farmer dies in lightning strike

A farmer died after lightning struck him on Friday in Palamau district, the police said here. The farmer identified as 55-year-old Lakhan Yadav died instantly after the thunderbolt struck him while he was working in his agriculture field at Chiru village, the police said.
