Woman killed in lightning strike

A 20-year-old woman from Bhiwanditaluka in Thane district was killed Saturday in a lightningstrike amidst heavy rains, district officials said

The mother of the deceased Urmila Waghe and afour-year-old child were injured when a bolt from the sky fellon a locality in Umbarpada village around 5:30 pm

The injured are admitted in hospital, they said.
