Arms recovered in Bihar's Munger district, four arrested

Four people have been arrested anda cache of arms recovered from their possession in Bihar'sMunger district, a senior police officer said on Monday

Acting on a tip off, police teams on Sunday conductedsimultaneous raids at Guljar Pokhar, Makaspur and Tikarampurareas in the district and arrested four persons with twodouble-barrel guns, one pistol, several cartridges andequipment to manufacture arms, SP Gaurav Mangla said

Those arrested have been identified as Ranjit KumarSharma, Sitaram Sah, Prahlad Mahto and Mohammad Rizwan, the SPsaid, adding that an FIR has been registered in the case undervarious sections of the Arms Act, he said.
