A Maoist, wantedin connection with encounters with security personnel has beenarrested in Palamau district, police said on Friday
Superintendent of Police, Palamau, Ajay Linda said theMaoist, identified as Sonu Singh Kherwar, was arrested from abazaar under the jurisdiction of Panki police station, about45-km from here on Thursday following a tip-off
He was with Manohar ji's armed squad of the banned CPI(Maoist) and was involved in encounters with the securitypersonnel in Palamau, Latehar and Chatra districts and thepolice was looking for him since 2011, the SP said.
