In a minor reshuffle of police officials in Tamil Nadu, the government on Friday transferred a Commissioner and three Superintendents. According to a Home Department order, N Baskaran, Inspector General of Police/Commissioner, Tirunelveli City, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Operations, Chennai.
Deepak M Damor is Commissioner, Tirunelveli City. Further, SPs of Perambalur and Tiruppur districts, Disha Mittal and A Kayalvizhi, respectively, were also transferred.
While Mittal will replace Kayalvizhi, the latter has been posted as Commandant, TSP X Battalion, Ulundurpet, the order said. M Rangarajan, Assistant IGP, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai has been appointed as SP, CB-CID III, vice Nisha Parthiban.
