Man arrested for molesting minor girl

The police have arrested a man for allegedly molesting a minor girl on a road here, a police officer said on Saturday. The girl, a student of class 9 was on her way to attend a private tuition on August 21 when a man in a scooter molested her on the road in Laxmisagar area of the city.

The man fled after the girl raised an alarm. The girl's family had lodged a written complaint at Laxmisagar police station on the same day. The officer said the police arrested the man with the help of the CCTV footage of the incident.
