A 32-year-old man was found murdered in the fields at Kandhla area in neighbouring Shamli district, police said on Wednesday. The body of Pramod Kumar was found with injuries in Alem village in the district on Tuesday evening. The deceased's tractor was also found in the fields, said Circle Officer Rajesh Tiwari.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he added. Meanwhile, a body of an unidentified youth aged around 35-year-old was also found at Kinoni village under Shahpur police station area in Muzaffarnagar district last evening.
