The body of an 18- year-old woman was found in a village in Jharkhand's Sahibganj district, police said. Sahibganj SDPO Naval Sharma said the body was found at Lohanda village in the district on Saturday.

"Its throat is slit and the body has stab wounds," he said. The deceased's family members suspect that a resident of the village, against whom they had lodged an FIR in 2016 for allegedly harassing her, might be behind the murder, Sharma said. He said an investigation into the incident is on and no arrests have been made so far.
