"I am Wing Commander Abhinandan, I am IAF officer. My service No is 27 981," one pilot says in a video issued by the Pakistan Army.
Pakistan on Wednesday claimed that it shot down two Indian military aircraft over Pakistani air space and arrested two pilots. However, there was no official confirmation from the Indian government.
Raveesh Kumar, MEA said in a statement that One Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by Indian Air Force. In this engagement, we have lost one MiG 21. The pilot is missing in action. Pakistan claims he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts.

2 Indian MIGs crossed the LoC and they were shot down, claims Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in a live TV address. "I ask India: with the weapons you have and the weapons we have, can we really afford a miscalculation? If this (situation) escalates, it will no longer be in my control or in (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi's," Khan said.
