UK court denies bail to fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi. Nirav Modi Friday appeared before a Westminster Magistrates Court judge, who reviewed a new file with additional evidence submitted by the prosecution against the fugitive diamantaire just ahead of his second bail application hearing. The Crown Prosecution Service(CPS), on behalf of Indian authorities, submitted the additional file of evidence in court.

The 48-year-old diamond merchant, wearing a white shirt, appeared before Judge Arbuthnot. He was earlier denied bail by District Judge Marie Mallon at his first hearing soon.
