Undertrial dies of heart attack at government hospital in Coimbatore

A 57-year-old undertrial died of heart attack at the government hospital here Monday, police said.

Senthilkumar, hailing from Karur district, was arrested at Erode on charges of cheating and threatening to murder, and lodged in the Central prison here on September 23, they said.

He had complained of chest pain on that day and been admitted to the prisoners' ward in the government hospital, where he was since under treatment, they added.
