V. President Naidu asks Indian community to continue mission of carrying India‘s message to World
Saying that share & care is the core of Indian philosophy, the Vice President asked the Indian community to keep building bridges of understanding & empathy as they have been doing, for so many decades.

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has called upon the Indian community to continue the mission of carrying India‘s message to the World. Addressing the Indian Community in Malawi, yesterday, he asked them to be India’s cultural ambassadors representing India’s values and way of life.
Saying that share & care is the core of Indian philosophy, the Vice President asked the Indian community to keep building bridges of understanding & empathy as they have been doing, for so many decades. Share your prosperity with your Malawian brothers & sisters and make them partners in progress, he added.
The Vice President said that Indian cultural heritage has kept alive various Indian festivals celebrated with full religious fervour and with the participation of the entire community. Your strong and wider involvement in economic activities of Malawi is noteworthy, he added.
The Vice President highlighted the transformative reforms undertaken by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi government and said that India is marching ahead on the path of reforms. Saying that the business environment was changing for the better, he has asked the Indian community to look at the transformation and take advantage of the situation.
The Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, the High Commissioner of India to Malawi. Shri Suresh Kumar Menon and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The Vice President is scheduled to meet the President of Malawi, Prof. Arther Peter Mutharika and other dignitaries of the Malawian government on November 5, 2018.
