Rwandan model Alexia Mupende’s murder a mystery, Investigation continues

The renowned Rwandan model, Alexia Mupende was murdered during the evening hours on January 8 at her father’s home in Nyarugunga Sector, Kicukiro District in Rwanda. The sudden death of the 35-year old model first circulated over the social media around 9 pm on Tuesday.

Alexia Mupende was apparently stabbed to death by her 23-year old housemaid due to some unknown reasons. Later it was confirmed by Modeste Mbabazi, the spokesperson of Rwanda Investigation Bureau. He is presently unable to share details about the brutal murder but has ensured the people that investigation is underway.

Alexia Mupende was also the general manager of Waka Fitness, a popular fitness center in Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali. According to the preliminary reports, she succumbed to her injuries following multiple marks of the stabbing. She was supposed to get married next month and her family had already released her wedding invitations.

The late beautiful model will be remembered mainly for showcasing Rwanda’s clothing brands on the international podium.
