Ambassador of the State of Israel in Cameroon, H E Ran Gidor has recently visited the newly appointed Minister of Public Health Manaouda Malachie.
The Israeli Ambassador and his Deputy Simon Seroussi met Manaouda Malachie and discussed various aspects of the bilateral relationship between both countries.
Both are active partners in the health sectors, as reported by Journal du Cameroun. Israeli Embassy has been an active partner in giving efforts to fight against cholera in Cameroon. The Israeli Embassy donated water filtration kits Ministry of Public Health on September 18, 2018 to help combat against cholera in Cameroon.
“This is extremely important for us because these kits will help the population that needs access to clean drinking water and to us this is the most important thing. Secondly, it represents the cooperation between Cameroon and Israel which has been going on for years and we wish to continue and by this gesture we want to show the people in Cameroon that we stand with them during the good and difficult moments,” His Excellency Simon Seroussi said while handling over the kits in September 2018.
As far as the discussion related to the bilateral relationship between Cameroon and Israel is concerned, there is no update on that part yet.
