Vande Bharat express, India's fastest train, is set to be updated after a string of complaints by the passengers and inadequate time for repair work. The new train, which is set to be pressed into service soon, is likely to be used as a backup for when the old train will be sent for repair work.

Surprisingly, the new train will be an updated version, with none of the flaws of the original train as Indian railways has worked on the new train according to suggestions and feedback received from passengers and its own employees.

Passengers have complained that the original train lacked some basic services and there were also incidents when the train ran over cattle straying on to the tracks. Vande Bharat express was also pelted with stones on numerous occasions and now has cameras fitted on its exterior to detect and deter the troublemakers.
