Wildfire reported near Parks Highway near Montana Creek Rd

A wildfire on the Parks Highway south of the Talkeetna spur may prompt localized evacuations and traffic delays. 

The wildfire was spotted by the Parks Highway near Montana Creek Road. In an alert, Troopers said that a wildfire reported near Parks Highway near Montana Creek Rd. Localized evacuations may occur. Yield to emergency vehicles. Expect delays.

The fire has been reported in three acres and has threatened one structure in the area. It has been evacuated as per the information received from the Division of Forestry.

Troopers urged people to yield to emergency vehicles and avoid the area if possible.
