Chilean leftist Boric leads election with 53.44%, early count data show

Chilean leftist candidate Gabriel Boric is leading the country's presidential election with 53.44% of the vote ahead of far-right rival Jose Antonio Kast on 46.56%, early results showed on Sunday with 3.67% of ballots tallied.
