MEXICO CITY - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said at a daily news conference he is willing to sell the country's presidential plane to Argentina for an initial $30 million and let the South American nation pay for the rest of its value later. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner was last valued at $110 million, said Lopez Obrador, who proposed in March renting it out privately for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions after his government failed to sell it the last three years.

Brazilian government working to reduce costs, inflation has decreased, minister says BRASILIA - Brazil's government is working to tackle the economic impact of the war in Ukraine by lowering taxes and reducing costs, Economy Minister Paulo Guedes said and stressed that inflation in the country has started to come down.

SANTIAGO - Most Chilean voters are still undecided on whether to support a new constitution in a September plebiscite, according to a new opinion poll. {nL6N2XW0BC} In October 2020, nearly 80% of the electorate voted to draft a replacement of the existing constitution, which dates back to the 1980s dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet. But support has fallen amid controversial proposals and political infighting.

The latest poll by the Center for Public Studies (CEP) shows that 25% would vote to approve the text, 27% would reject it, and 37% are still undecided, citing a lack of information.
