The Jharkhand BJP two-day Executive Committee meeting concluded here on Tuesday with a pledge to root out UPA government from the state in the 2024 assembly polls besides winning all 14 parliamentary seats in the Lok Sabha election.

''Fourteen months are left for the Lok Sabha elections and it is the responsibility of all of us to win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state and give a gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,'' BJP Jharkhand unit President and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash said while addressing the meeting on Tuesday.

On the inaugural day of BJP Executive Meeting, a political resolution was passed unanimously to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India for the third time in 2024.

Prakash claimed ever since Modi has become Prime Minister, India has emerged stronger.

Attacking the Hemant Soren government in the state, Prakash urged the workers to root out the ''corrupt'' UPA coalition and claimed that it was only BJP which can do so.

He appealed to party workers to ensure that the Central schemes reached the poor in the state and claimed it was BJP only which can free the state of corruption.

BJP Legislature Party leader and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi hit out at the JMM-led coalition in the state saying it failed to ''fulfil'' the promises made to people while ''corruption was at its peak and law and order has taken a backseat''.

He claimed that none of the promises made by the Soren government including five lakh jobs to the youth, unemployment allowance to the unemployed, waiver of loans to farmers and free electricity was ''fulfilled''.

He alleged that Naxal incidents have increased in the state besides a sharp rise in murder, rape, loot and other crime.

Atrocities against women are also on its peak, he alleged and said that ''smuggling of cows was going unabated and a conspiracy has been hatched to change the demography of Santhal Paragana by allowing infiltrators to marry Santhal women''.

Talking about the 1932-based 'khatiyan' policy and reservation to OBC, Marandi said it was well within the jurisdiction of the state but the ball was thrown in the court of the Centre by including the provision for its inclusion in the ninth schedule. The ninth schedule of the Constitution contains a list of central and state laws that cannot be challenged in courts.

Jharkhand BJP in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai claimed India is on the way of becoming a super power and has emerged stronger ever since Modi has taken as Prime Minister.

Hazaribag MP Jayant Sinha claimed that there is an atmosphere of joy in the entire country after India got the presidency of the G20. ''Since the time of Jana Sangh, BJP had a dream that India should become the number one country in the world, today that dream has come true during the tenure of Modi ji. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving towards overall development in the national and international sector,'' he said.

Around 400 executive committee members took part in the meeting, which concluded on Tuesday.
