Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra on Thursday claimed that the BJP's politics based on religion has been exposed before the public.
''The public does not support the BJP now. (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi has no programme and no public support. He only gives speeches and does empty talk,'' he told reporters here.
He said the Congress will retain power in Rajasthan in the assembly polls slated for later this year.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is not afraid and will continue to walk on the path of the truth, he said.
He said the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government has launched various welfare schemes in the state and people are happy with its performance. He cited the government providing a compensation of Rs 40,000 for the death of cows due to lumpy skin disease.
On the BJP's central leaders visiting the state, Dotasra said people are asking them what they have done in the nine years of the Narendra Modi government.
